Northern Hemisphere announced by WMO and NOAA, the hottest ever this summer

From June to August of this year, temperatures in the Northern Hemisphere exceeded the 20th century average by 1.17 degrees Celsius, making it the hottest summer in observation history, the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) and the US National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) have announced.
